We are very excited that Bob will be spending time with us next academic year. Also, following up on Bob's work, Chris Coyne and Abby Hall are working on finishing a book -- Unleashing Leviathan -- which explores how foreign wars lead to a loss of liberty at home.
Chris has developed an outstanding track record as the scholar of note within the Austrian tradition in the political economy of defense economics. Higgs's work is foundational in Chris's work and rightfully so. Just great history, insightful analysis, and brilliantly clear writing.
