Outstanding essay! You presented a cohesive case for a laissez faire free market approach to addressing societal ills. In a truly Free Market environment these ills will be much lesser in quantity than in present society and thus easier and less expensive to solve in the manner that you suggest.

Murray Rothbard always emphasized that the market is the nexus of voluntary transactions. So, too, Thomas Sowell. It is the fact that transactions are voluntary that makes them effective and morally attractive.

Arthur Brookes has confirmed that charity, which by definition is voluntary, is effective. Giving is part of the free society and helps make it work.
