Time to Buy -- Impact Scholars in Political Economy

Ben Powell and Pete Leeson are rising stars in the disciplines of economics and political economy. (Both are in that first decade range of getting their PhD -- Powell 2003, Leeson 2005 -- so they are representatives of the next generation of maturing scholars).  Ben now directs a new research and graduate education institute at Texas Tech and is the North American Editor of The Review of Austrian Economics.  Pete is a distinguished professor of law & economics at GMU, and the North American Editor of Public Choice.  Their two books respectively are among the first books published in the Cambridge University Press Studies in Economics, Choice, and Society.
