The LSE Review of Books has a nice review of Living Economics. Also, last week, the Future of Freedom Foundation (FFF) also hosted an event on my book featuring Sheldon Richman and Chris Coyne. And last Friday, Sheldon also published this review of the book. Bruce Yandle also has a review of the book that has started to circulate.
I am very flattered by the reception of the book from a variety of corners. And amused by the various social media spontaneous campaigns that have emerged around the book. Please keep the pictures coming in. One picture that I didn't take or share, but made me simultaneously sad and elated was that on my first visit to James Buchanan's office after his passing (with Pete, Chris and Virgil), we all noticed a copy of Living Economics on the desk. (See the discussion of Buchanan's legacy at Liberty Matters that just concluded).
As anyone who has heard me talk about the book knows, it was inspired by the great work at Universidad Francisco Marroquin (UFM), and I am also extremely fortunate to have worked with David Theroux and his great staff at the Independent Institute in jointly publishing this book. If you are in a position to do, please consider supporting both of these fine institutions.
