Peter,

Thank you for opening my eyes to the brand of Public Choice theory espoused by the likes of Buchanan and North, V. Smith and Ostrom. As I have come to read their work the last couple of years, it becomes so completely obvious that they have pursued the school founded by Adam Smith, carried on by Burke and Tocqueville, but brought into modern times by F.A. Hayek.

I know many if not all of these have a close affinity to Hayek, and thus the intellectual link with the Austrian school is also quite close. A facinating heritage of thought and a continuing tradition of scholarly research this is indeed.

Very cool! I am Brazilian and would like to visit my blog too: http://sentimentosdej.blogspot.com/

Lin Ostrom is very cool, just for the record, and quite aside from her Swedish Bank prize.
