As Leo reports, he successfully defended his dissertation today, learned that he had been awarded a fellowship to continue his research on property rights at PERC this summer, and is getting ready to move to Texas to join the faculty of University of Texas at Arlington.
I can remember my first conversations about economics with Leo in Prague many years ago. Please join me in congratulating Leo, and wishing him well in all the new directions his life is going to be taking over the next few months (and I haven't even mentioned the most important one :)).
Tell him congratulations and, if he's an Austian and wants to talk Austrian economics, I'm in the DFW area.
