|Peter Boettke|
Liya Palagashvili, Vice President of GMU's Economic Society, published an op-ed today in the Philadelphia Inquirer on the health care debate. Liya is a former student and is one of the true gems of the GMU economic community -- smart, high energy, and friendly. Earlier this term, she won the Dean's Award from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Congratulations Liya --- keep up the great work.
I'll second that congratulations! Liya and I worked together at FEE in the summer of '08, and I can confirm that she's pretty rad.

What would you choose - going on vacation or passing health care reform?
That is the choice facing the House of Representatives, who are nearing a vote on historic health reform legislation but are scheduled to go on vacation at the end of next week.
