Congrats on the position, what an opportunity to work with some (other) great minds!

Congratulations, and though a very impressive career accomplishment, it does not surprise me in the least that you landed it. I am sure it will be awesome.

More important, will you return to GMU the following year?

Congrats Pete!! Awesome opportunity, but we will miss you here!

Congratulations! That's awesome!

Wow that's awesome. Congratulations!

Wow, anarchist at U of Chicago! Congratulations, and all the best!

Congratulations. Becker is the best.

Congratulations Pete! Your insightful and rigorous commitment to economics is taking you wonderful places! Truly inspirational.

Big thumbs up, Pete!! Teach 'em some AE, please! And we'll have to get you back to Hillsdale for a talk while you're in Chicago.

Good job Pete.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and congratulations! I greatly appreciate it.

Congrats!

Congrats Pete!

Do you happen to know if there are any other Austrians on the payroll at University of Chicago? I am considering applying for grad school there. Obviously, the reputation of the program is second to none, and thus I would be very fortunate to get in and have a degree from there. However, a thick icing on the cake would be to have at least one experienced Austrian to learn from (unfortunately, I'm afraid I'm going to miss your year there, as I plan to work in financial research for at least another year).

Thanks,
Will

Mazel tov!
