The Hoover Digest has three articles in the Spring 2007 issue that give a pretty good sense of the range of views on the microeconomics of the issue --- by Gary Becker, Richard Posner and Terry Anderson and Bob McCormick.
Who do you think has the better of the argument?
I think Terry Anderson and Robert McCormick have the better argument and Posner has the worst. Posner talks very casually about $7.6 billion being a small amount, or even $73 million a year that he wants us to put aside every year. Neither amount is small change. Becker makes interesting arguments, and I agree with him about advances in technology and efficiency in the future; but, he is still for finding an appropriate discount rate which I believe is pointless.

I agree with Triya about who makes the best argument. Although, I'm unsure as to why she believes finding an appropriate discount rate is pointless.

Is GLOBAL WARMING real?
Well?
And I'm not talking about "climate change" the Earth goes through NATURALLY. I'm referring to MAN MADE global warming...that is, warming as a result of human beings.
Is it real...or was it all just one big, fat hoax?
Thanks!
