Pete: Your book's gotta be good if Mises likes it. Mises is always right! :-)

Mises is right with apodictic certainty.

You know, I am reminded sometimes of the quip that The New York Review of Books should be re-named "The New York Review of one another's Books," and so you can understand why I might not find reviews and blurbs of Pete Boettke's new book by his Austrian colleagues all that compelling, but, let me say this, I have just finished reading the Independent Institute review (which is linked above), and it convinced me to purchase the book. The book seems to be the culmination of everything Dr. Boettke has been teaching and saying for the last 10 years, and so, in that sense, this book seems to me to be a monumental achivement for him. Congratulations, Dr. Boettke. I do look forward to reading it. This book also seems to be one that ONLY Dr. Boettke can write. Discussions of Buchanan, Boulding, and Hayek is something that only Dr. Boettke can pull off.

Congratulations!
