Part 2 of my FreemanOnline column about whether the name "capitalism" is worth keeping is now up. A snippet:
So even were we to use “markets” and “planning” for “capitalism” and “socialism,” we would still need additional adjectives. The question is whether the somewhat more tedious circumlocutions that might substitute for “capitalism” are worth it. Given the confusion I’ve described, I have become increasingly convinced that they are.
Free markets versus central planning is ok. Markets versus planning isn't, imo.

In addition realise that capitalists have now been replaced with climate sceptics, though it's still a "c" word.
