Co-blogger, Chris Coyne, recently received the 12th $10,000 prize from the Fund for the Study of Spontaneous Orders for his work on post-war reconstruction. This is a great honor and truly well-deserved.
For those who know Chris and are familiar with his important work, the fact that his research is generating prizes will come as no surprise. For those who are not, I highly encourage you to check out his website and download his papers, including the first chapter of his forthcoming book with Stanford University Press, After War. This will help you understand why Chris is perhaps the most insightful and important political economist of his generation.
Please join me in congratulating Chris on this impressive achievement and for his outstanding contribution to political economy; in both cases there are many more to come.
Congratulations, a well deserved honor.
